My Story
I believe that – behind every success or failure – there is a good story to share and a lesson to learn. I am Ryan, the sushi chef, and owner behind OfferSushi. Making delicious sushi rolls is more than a job to me; it is a passion project. I can vividly recall the first time I made sushi. I questioned if I could do it and whether I would enjoy the experience.
For many years, I worked alongside a Taiwanese chef and every time I watched him create sushi, I asked myself: “Am I ever going to be able to make sushi like him?” This chapter in my life marks the continuation of this story.
I take pride in myself and I love my profession. I take my work very seriously and refuse to make excuses or compromise on quality. After working for many years in the food industry, my dream of having my own business finally came true.
Now, I operate my own sushi catering business, Offersushi for special events – ranging from receptions aboard yachts in Boston Harbor to birthday parties, bat/bar mitzvahs, and all occasions.
I also collaborate with event planners throughout Massachusetts, providing sushi catering services for their events.
For anyone who wants to learn how to make real, authentic Asian sushi I also offer classes so you can make delicious sushi at home for your friends and family.

Chef Ryan is the bomb! A real pro who knows his sushi. We had a birthday party last night with about 20 people and everyone raved about the sushi. The taste, the presentation, the creativity was all top-notch. Everyone got their fill and was more than satisfied. A great find.
I have had the pleasure of enjoying not one, but two in-home sushi parties by Chef Ryan. All communications with Chef Ryan in booking and leading up to the parties were smooth and responses were extremely quick! He provided everything we needed to learn how to make and enjoy all kinds of sushi in-home. After getting his sushi station set up, he whipped up a sampler platter of sushi and explained to our group a little about what he had available, techniques, and recipe tips. After trying some of what he made, everyone got a chance to try their own hand at it! It was a great night with lots of delicious food!! You will definitely not leave hungry! I cannot say enough good things about Chef Ryan. My son’s graduation party was amazing thanks to his sushi. Even the grandparents (who are not sushi fans) willingly ate this sushi and on top of it, they raved about it! Someone else said that it was the best sushi they ever had. Every single thing he served us was extremely fresh and delicious. If you want a catered meal that is guaranteed to impress both young and old, sushi newbies and old hacks alike, this is your guy. Chef Ryan is pleasant, professional, prepared…perfect.
Chef Ryan was fantastic! We hired him for a family dinner party, which was a blast! It was a really interactive experience where we were all able to learn how to make our own sushi rolls. Chef Ryan was very laid back and he even accommodated some of our special requests (including shrimp tempura). Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend his service!
Hired Chef Ryan for my husband’s 40th birthday party. We had about 15 guests. First- the sushi was DELICIOUS. You can tell he uses fresh, quality ingredients. Also- leading up to the event, Ryan was extremely responsive; planning was ridiculously easy. He assured me multiple times that no one would leave hungry- and he was not joking! We had two full platters of sushi yet to work through by the time he packed up. A couple of guests even took sushi home and remarked on how delicious it was even the next day! Ryan’s clean up was also meticulous; you’d never have known he was there. Nothing made me happier than when guests asked for his business card before he left. 🙂 All in all, a fantastic price for delicious food and wonderful service. You will not be disappointed!!
I hired Chef Ryan to surprise my husband for his birthday. I can’t tell you how much he loved it and how much we all loved the sushi that was presented! Professional, engaging and helpful. Chef Ryan is a class act-felt like he was part of the family by the end of it. He provided us with more than enough to fill everyone up and have leftovers for a coupe days-so come hungry! We highly recommend him!
